Examples:
There are several tools that are used to convey messages to the media for potential inclusion in their outlet: press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, backgrounders, story angle sheets, questionnaires, etc.
Frequency:
Media relations must be done on an ongoing basis as the diverse and new topics of conversation become available. The media outlets are constantly looking for valuable information to share with their readers/viewers.
